A variety of Bolon ranges have been selected for use throughout the Skype headquarters in Stockholm, including Spektra Nimbus and also various shades of grey from the NOW and Botanic collections; the Bolon studio was used to custom cut triangles to create a dramatic overall effect.

Architect Mette Larsson Wedborn, from the prestigious Swedish architects firm Ps Arkitektur, explains, “I try to find those materials from where a standard product I can create something unique and specific for the space. For this project, one of the conceptual ideas was to visualize a network of interconnected nodes (in the same way that Skype connects people all over the world). For the flooring we chose to interpret this network to triangular colourfields.”
